The first day of Energias de Portugal

May 18, 2013,  9:00 hrs, we arrived to the venue of the first bootcamp of Energias de Portugal, which has an ambitious objective of guiding 50 startups towards success. The place was already crowded with most of the teams present and a positive environment. The bootcamp started as schedule, which was a nice surprise. Mr António Lucena, Founder of Fabrica de Startups gave us an overview of how our following weeks would look like and later on, presented the standard methodology for building business models (Alex Osterwalder’s). Our team was already knowledgeable of it, hence the making of the first iteration of our business model ran smoothly. After lunch, an invited speaker, Daniela Couto, co-founder of Cell2be talk about the vicissitudes of her startup. At the end of the day, more information was given about mentors and project work during the following week. The program started well and the future looks promising.
